Quick service and the quick release buckles are really great for safety and ease of use/switching out gear.
Attached an existing wrist strap and neck strap to these and the X100. Feels safe and secure and easy enough to swap straps. It does take some pressure to release them but I guess that is a good thing!
These adapters make it easy to switch between the neck strap and the wrist strap, no retying or adjusting. It also makes it easy to take off the strap and store separately from the camera. One did come untied, but the rest are holding even after I wore my camera around my neck for three days.
